About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Parish Cleaner to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the parish presbytery and associated parish buildings. This is an important role supporting the day-to-day life of the parish by ensuring a welcoming, clean, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the presbytery, including hoovering and dusting all rooms
- Cleaning ground-floor offices, hall, Newman room, and toilets
- Cleaning the kitchen and kitchen equipment (e.g. cooker, microwave)
- Cleaning and mopping bathrooms and toilets
- Cleaning and polishing floors and surfaces throughout the building
- Cleaning doors and interior windows as required
- Cleaning the toilets and kitchen in the church hall
- Undertaking laundry duties as required
- Carrying out ad hoc cleaning tasks as needed

Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
- An interest in working for the Catholic Church
Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
