Youth Leader – Hatfield South, St Peter Parish

The Catholic churches in Hatfield are looking for a passionate, inspiring Youth Leader to start up an exciting new position of introducing two Youth Groups for our young community ages 8-11 year olds and 12-16 year olds every Friday.  We have a vision to see these groups grow and be an active part of the community in the years to come.  The churches have strong links with the local catholic primary school in Hatfield and mixed catholic secondary school in St. Albans and we are keen to further develop these links.

The Youth Leader will play a key role in the spiritual development and pastoral support of young people and students within the parish.  If you are gifted in leadership, self-motivated and enthusiastic about seeing the lives of young people transformed, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a wonderful opportunity to start up a new project from scratch and influence the working party of its direction. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and show evidence of prior experience in organising youth activities.

This post is subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
