About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Works Team Administrator to join the Cathedral Estate team within the Diocese of Westminster. This is a part-time job share position, providing crucial administrative support to the Cathedral Works Manager and playing a key role in the coordination of maintenance and repair projects across our historic estate.
Please note the following important working arrangements:

The role will be worked on Wednesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays (exact days to be agreed).

Due to a regular team meeting, the role requires an 8:00 AM start on working days.

The position is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Diocese will arrange.
Key Responsibilities

Provide efficient administrative support to the Cathedral Works Manager.

Assist in the scheduling and documentation of planned maintenance, minor works, and repairs.

Liaise with contractors and consultants, helping ensure timely delivery of services.

Maintain and organise departmental files and records, both digital and physical.

Process purchase orders, expenses, and related finance documentation.

Support the organisation of team meetings and wider department events.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a small, collaborative team.

Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
Previous experience in a similar administrative or facilities-based role is desirable but not essential.
