Temporary Parish Caretaker – Pinner Parish

A temporary part-time Caretaker is required for a 6-month contract to maintain the parish presbytery and premises.  As the Caretaker you will be expected to be enthusiastic, proactive, conscientious, and self-motivated to ensure that there is a clean and safe environment for the staff, volunteers and parishioners.

Flexibility in regards to hours will be required, to meet the needs of our users.  You will undertake routine maintenance and will be expected to facilitate the work of visiting contractors.  Duties include cleaning, setting out tables and chairs as required, clearing rubbish for collection, keeping stock of cleaning materials and carrying out general repairs when necessary as well as Health and Safety checks.  Duties are not limited to these aspects of the job.

The role is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barred List check.

Hours of work:         20 hours per week (Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 12:30pm)

Contract:                      6 month Fixed Term Contract

Salary:                          £10.85 per hour
