Are you reliable, self-motivated and proud of maintaining high standards? We are looking for a Cleaning & Facilities Assistant to help keep Seeds Hub, our vibrant co-working and community space in Wembley, clean, safe and welcoming for members, visitors and local businesses.

As the final member of staff on site each evening, you will play an important role in preparing the Hub for the next business day, ensuring all shared spaces, private offices and facilities are presented to an exceptional standard. You will also act as a friendly and professional point of contact for visitors and enquiries when other team members are not on site.

About the Role

Reporting to the Hub Manager, you will work independently to:

  • Clean and maintain communal areas, co-working spaces, private offices, meeting rooms, kitchens and washrooms.
  • Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces throughout the building.
  • Empty bins and replenish consumables.
  • Prepare the Hub for the following day, ensuring all areas are tidy, organised and ready for use.
  • Carry out routine inspections and report maintenance or health and safety concerns.
  • Help maintain a safe environment and follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Welcome visitors and contractors, acting as an ambassador for Seeds Hub.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is not only competent in cleaning but who also embodies our diocesan values of Competence, Reliability, Honesty, Perseverance, and Love.

  • Has previous cleaning experience in a similar role.
  • Can work independently and use initiative.
  • Has strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Takes pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments.
  • Has knowledge of COSHH and the safe use of cleaning products.
  • Is reliable, adaptable and able to work unsupervised.
  • Respects and supports people from diverse backgrounds.

Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
