What You’ll Be Doing:

Month-End Process: Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, cashbooks, creditors, and debtors ledgers.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payment runs, and oversee receivables for assigned entities.
Financial Reporting: Prepare journals (e.g., accruals, prepayments), ensure ledger accuracy, and assist with audits.
Process Improvement: Help enhance financial systems, maintain strong controls, and drive efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments, providing financial insights and support.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Strong financial accounting knowledge (AAT qualified or equivalent experience).
✅ Excellent attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
✅ Proficiency in Excel and Word (experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus!).
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
✅ A proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to the values of the Diocese.
