Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Count and bank collections from all Mass centres with the Administrator or appointed chaplaincy representative.
- Purchase supplies, equipment, and goods as required.
- Support general office and parish administration.
Events Support
- Assist parish priests and community representatives in planning and organising events.
- Maintain and monitor event inventory and stock levels.
- Print and prepare event materials when needed.
- Provide event reports and support parish events throughout the year.
Property & Lettings Management
- Conduct property inspections and prepare reports.
- Liaise with contractors for repairs and refurbishments.
- Advertise rooms, arrange viewings, and manage check-ins/outs for tenants.
- Maintain communication with tenants and respond to maintenance issues.
Hall Bookings
- Manage hall bookings and respond to related enquiries.
- Conduct check-ins/outs and post-event inspections.
Health & Safety
- Participate in safeguarding training and formation sessions.
- Regularly test fire alarms and emergency lights and keep accurate records.
- Organise safety inspections and maintain up-to-date gas, electricity, and EPC certification records.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Adaptable and responsive to changing needs.
- Relevant administrative experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Respect for and commitment to the mission and values of the Diocese of Westminster.
- Sensitivity and respect for diverse communities.
Desirable
- Experience in a faith‑based or non‑profit organisation.
- Understanding of the Catholic Church and a desire to work within it.
