Are you passionate about tackling domestic abuse, gender-based violence, and spiritual abuse in faith settings? Join Caritas Westminster as the Safe in Faith Manager and lead a transformative project that works across Catholic and interfaith communities to create safer, more supportive environments.
About the Role
You’ll lead the Safe in Faith initiative—part of Caritas Hope—delivering impactful training, developing resources, and fostering peer support networks. You’ll work with clergy, parishes, and professionals to promote trauma-informed approaches and safe spaces, including the innovative “Ask for Mary” initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions (online & in-person)
- Develop and maintain resources including the Signposting Toolkit
- Roll out new initiatives and manage the Safe in Faith Administrator
- Collect and report impact data using Salesforce
- Collaborate with fundraising, communications, and national networks
About You
You’ll bring:
- A recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy
- Experience in the VAWG sector and trauma-informed practice
- Strong communication, organisational, and people management skills
- A commitment to the values of the Diocese of Westminster

Experience working in a faith-based or charitable setting is welcome but not essential.
